i Was Wrong But The End Game Doesn't Change

I predicted and stated some things that did not come to pass. Perhaps I was believing for the best outcome and for justice to prevail.  Criminals should be in jail, but that is not the present reality.
Rudy Giuliani successfully took down the Mafia as the Attorney general for New York in the 1980s and cleaned up crime in the same city as Mayor in the 1990s. I believed he and President Trump were taking down the political mafia and exposing the corruption in our government and the fraud in our election system. But we see the opposite happening. The keys of the country have been handed to this criminal.
When I go to the Lord in prayer. I ask "why is this happening?" He brings me to Psalms 37.
Do not fret because of those who are evil or be envious of those who do wrong;  for like the grass they will soon wither, like green plants they will soon die away.  A little while, and the wicked will be no more; though you look for them, they will not be found.  But the meek will inherit the land and enjoy peace and prosperity.
Psalms 37:1‭-‬2‭, ‬10‭-‬11 NIV
God sees time differently from us. "A little while" is a measured amount of time. How "A little while" appears to us is vastly different from how it appears to God.

Do you want to be the man?

As you read God’s word, once in a while you will come across the phrase ‘blessed is the man’, and then always following that phrase there is a qualifier – ‘who <insert some active or passive verb here>’. When I read about a ‘blessed man’ I would often say to myself, “I want to be that man, but how do I do that?”

In addition to saying that, I used to read those verses and I would think, “but that’s not me, someday maybe?”  And then, with 10% intent and 90% neglect, I would discard them to the ‘That will be me later’ pile. I have no idea why I did that? The 2018v.Craig is looking at these verses now and saying, “This is so simple. It’s easy to be that blessed man!”

Take a look at these qualifiers, it’s simple stuff:
Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him.
Psalm 34:8

It is a sin to despise one’s neighbor, but blessed is the one who is kind to the needy.
Proverbs 14:21

Blessed is the one whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are covered.
Psalm 32:1

Blessed is the one whose sin the Lord will never count against them.
Romans 4:8

Blessed is the one who reads aloud the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear it and take to heart what is written in it, because the time is near.
Revelation 1:3

Blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, who does not look to the proud, to those who turn aside to false gods.
Psalm 40:4

Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him.
James 1:12

Blessed is the one who always trembles before God, but whoever hardens their heart falls into trouble.
Proverbs 28:14

Where there is no revelation, people cast off restraint; but blessed is the one who heeds wisdom’s instruction.
Proverbs 29:18

So whatever you believe about these things keep between yourself and God. Blessed is the one who does not condemn himself by what he approves.
Romans 14:22

Look, I come like a thief! Blessed is the one who stays awake and remains clothed, so as not to go naked and be shamefully exposed.
Revelation 16:15

Look, I am coming soon! Blessed is the one who keeps the words of the prophecy written in this scroll.
Revelation 22:7

Blessed is the one you discipline, Lord, the one you teach from your law;
Psalm 94:12

And there are many more. Okay, some of those things may seem difficult, but they are really not, especially when you compare the act with the reward. Every single one of those qualifiers is doable.

I would like to point out that God’s qualifying standards are nothing like this worlds’. Did you notice that there are some things glaringly missing from His qualifiers???

For instance, I don’t see any mention of having enough money, or talent to qualify. Nor was there any mention of these attributes:  Good looks, charisma, college degrees, a good heritage, height and weight restrictions, locality, gender, skin color, I could go on and on.

Bottom line: God’s blessings are not discriminatory. Every single one of his blessings requires only one thing that we all possess. What is that? Your choice. That’s right, it’s as easy as that! You just make a choice to do what he says.

What does it mean to be blessed? That is a topic for another article. Just know this: it’s a good thing, especially if our creator is the one doing the blessing. I will leave you with my favorite blessing/qualifier scripture, because this one goes on to clarify some details of the blessing.

Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers, but whose delight is in the law of the Lord, and who meditates on his law day and night. That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither— whatever they do prospers.
Psalm 1:1-3

Yup! Quit listening to the world, and surround yourself with his word 24/7 and see what happens.

If The Truth Brings Freedom, Is It Free?

If there exists out there, one truth that clearly explains why you are here, what is this all about, and what should you be doing with your time on earth... would you seek it out with some diligence?

If those three questions were answered with the truth, I would say that your life would be totally transformed. The truth is out there for anyone who wants to seek it. Most people don't seek it because they are comfortable and content in their current life view. They don't want to shake that up.

Another reason the don't seek the truth, is because they feel like they've invested to much to get where they are right now. The truth would shed light on the vanity of their efforts. Too much waste to fathom, so they continue to be blind.

Here is a reason people don't cling to the truth once they find it: social ridicule. That's right, they see a glimpse of truth but go back to their old ways and philosophy just to keep everything copacetic. What makes the most sense to me is lettting go of the lies, because the truth is the truth.  Don't you want that? Even if all hell breaks loose, at least i have the truth!

The good news is, no matter where you are at, you can start the journey with one step towards the truth and begin to uncover it. You may need to sacrifice a few things along the way, but it's totally worth it. Those things were lies anyhow. Continue the journey and things become clearer and more clear every day.

Truth is refreshing and freeing, but is it free?. The cost? Letting go of the lies and your ego, and there are also social consequences. This is too difficult for some.

Don't waste anymore time. Start seeking truth now. It is worth the cost!

Late Night - Last Train for Christians

Many Christians are waiting and hoping for the rapture as their easy ticket out of here. Well, guess what? It's not happening as soon as you think. We got some work to do. God is waiting for the great harvest of the earth, and we who believe and have been curated and reshaped for years like Moses in the desert before he stepped into his calling, are the ones who will do this! We are the generation that will do the greater works!

It's TRUE that we are supposed to "look up because our redemption is drawing near." However, this doesn't mean that we stop sharing Gods message of salvation with others. No, this is the time where multitudes are in the valley of decision and we have the Answer.

For me, to "look up" means the Kingdom of Heaven is your focus, like your compass pointing north. We are viewing this world and its fruit in light of eternity during these last hours. We are not looking up and crying "Jesus get me out of here". No, we are looking up and saying, "Our Father in Heaven, holy is your name! Your kingdom come, your will be done in the EARTH, as it is in heaven!"

2021 versus 2020 - The Forecast is Dark and Sunny

Have you heard anyone say something like this, "i can't wait until we get out of this crazy year of 2020!"? I have some sorry news for them, but it's best that they hear it so they can brace themselves and do the things that really matter. The news is this, 2021 is going to be at least double the amount of craziness😔. There will be even more polarization of things, ideologies, systems, and cultures.

The Bible in the Old and New Testament said it would be like this exactly. The good news is, if you are on the side of the light things will get even better for you. The bad news for those magnetically pulled towards the darkness, things are going to get worse, and the delusional thinking will become stronger. Morals will decline even more b/c the thinking becomes deranged.

Systems and structures that you believed and relied upon for decades will crumble before your eyes. Those who have their faith in God's higher system will supersede the crumbling systems of this world. This is already happening in 2020, but the pace and velocity of these failures will increase at least by double in 2020.

On the flipside God's favor, wisdom, special graces, and blessing will also increase at least by double. This increase is not for personal gain, but for the masses of sick and hurting people who need those gifts from the Kingdom of Heaven. In other words, blessed to be a blessing.

If you haven't read the Bible, maybe now is a good time to pick one up and at least see what it says for yourself before you judge it based on someone else's understanding of it. Find a translation that speaks to you in a language and style you understand. The Holy Spirit will do the rest if you trust him to guide you through the process.

If you have questions or want to talk about some spiritual realities, feel free to DM me and we can chat. I don't claim to have all the answers, but I have been following Jesus (at times closely and from a distance) since I was dramatically converted from a Satanist to Christ at the age of 17 years old. I am humble and will listen to your questions without judgement. Chief of sinners right here》》》》Craig

Here are some scriptures that are the basis for the mass cultural polarization that I am seeing:
Matthew 24
Isaiah 60
Psalms 37
2 Timothy 3
2 Peter 3

What is Going On?

What is going on today in America is caused in part (maybe 70%?) by people under 30 years of age, who were raised by baby sitters, modern cable television, Rick & Morty, cell phones, a streamlined liberal doctrine in middle and high school (if/when they were paying attention), no discipline, excuses for their behavior, ritalin, zoloft, prozac, bad nutrition, violent and sexual video games, free accessible pornography, four crappy POTUS's, commercialism, wealth, instant gratification, corrupt biased media, religious scandals, political scandals, celebrity scandals, a mistrust of leadership and society.

It sounds like I am generalizing here, but I am saying there is a majority of young people who fit this category. Not 70% of young people, probably far less. I have met many great young people who, in spite of those things I mentioned previously, turned out to be stronger and will make a positive impact on this world. I realize my generation is not perfect either.

The reason I mention such a high percentage is due to the massive apathy shown by many in my generation that are over 30 years old. The activity of this movement and angst is coming from a majority of people from the younger generations. There appears to be a huge vacuum in these generations of:
an understanding of history, the role and styles of government, the presence of both a mom and a dad in the home, a clear understanding about sexuality, the ability to agree to be disagreeable, acceptance and openness to those of other belief systems, our Constitution and Bill of Rights, a clear perspective of racism and the advancement of true civil rights in American law and society, individual and critical thinking.

For those younger people who are critical thinkers, they are often persecuted by their peers, so many remain quiet about their beliefs. We are talking about years of this for those under thirty. It takes much more than an article displaying some truth to get them out of this mindset. A reeducation of the mind and heart must occur. I'm not sure how to do this other than trying to reach them one at a time and share some older perspective and experience with them. Any ideas?

Grow

Always keep growing! Never quit seeking! Speak words of life! Be quick to listen! Be slow to speak! He that wins over the soul of another is wise. Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord! He will give you a platform to speak on. Be patient. Be kind. Think on positive things. Put others before yourself. These are the lessons I am learning every day. Everyday I make the decision to do this. Some days are easy, and some days are difficult, but everyday is rewarding!!! This is the abundant life my friends!
